Condition guide
We use the following gradings. All items are guaranteed to play perfectly.
NEW: brand new item, still sealed, never used. NOTE: some new items will have shelf-wear (e.g. minor wear to the wrapping) and/or color fading along the spine. Any such defects will be noted in the item description.
MINT: looks like a brand new item except it has been opened. NOTE: we do not grade jewel cases.
NM: near-mint. An item that may have been played once or twice but very close to being like new.
EX: excellent. Very well cared for used item. There will be one or two extremely minor marks.
VG: very good. Average used item. Will have several marks caused by average use.
If the disc and artwork are not in the same condition, the DISC will be graded first, then the ARTWORK and then the OBI, if present. So, MINT / EX / MINT means the disc and obi are mint and the artwork is excellent. MINT / EX / -- means the disc is mint, the artwork is excellent and there is no obi.
If any item has any of the following defects, it will be noted in the item description:
- scratches that can be felt
- damage to the artwork (writing, tears, split seams, creases, tab marks, sticker or tape stains, etc.)
- color fading (for example along the spine of the obi or inlay card)
